If you believe you are signed up for the Anne Rice Celebration News / Anne Rice's Celebration of Life email list but have not seen emails in your inbox, here are some reasons you may not be seeing the emails and actions you can take to remedy that.
The emails may be going to your Spam or Junk folder. Check your Spam or Junk folder for emails from
The Dinner Party Show Network (info@thedinnerpartyshow.com) or Christopher Rice. If you find them, mark them as “Not Junk” or “Not Spam.” This should move them to your inbox. Continue to check your Spam or Junk folder periodically. You can also add
info@thedinnerpartyshownetwork.com to your email client’s “allowlist” so our messages go to your inbox rather than Spam/Junk. The directions for how to do this vary by email client but should be available in your email client’s Help feature or through a Google search for “allowlist” and the name of your email client, for example “allowlist Microsoft Outlook”. Some systems may call this the ”Safe Sender” list.
The emails may be going to a secondary inbox tab. Some email clients separate incoming messages into different inboxes. For example, Gmail has two inbox tabs, one called “Promotions” and one called “Updates,” where it automatically sends emails that it thinks are from mailing lists. Check those tabs and, if you find any emails from The Dinner Party Show Network or Christopher Rice, you can read them there or transfer them to your main (Primary) inbox. Similarly, some Microsoft Outlook installations have a “Focused” and an “Other” inbox. Check the “Other” inbox if you don’t see the emails in “Focused.”
You may not be signed up for the mailing list you thought you were signed up for. We have several different mailing lists so we make sure we are sending emails only to people interested in specific topics. To check which lists you are subscribed to, go to our signup form. Enter your information and check off the lists you want to subscribe to then click Subscribe. If you are already signed up, you will see a message that says you are subscribed with a link to update your profile. Type in your email address and use this link update your profile; you will receive an email with the subject “Dinner Partners, LLC: Update Profile” with a link to update your preferences. At that link, you will see which lists you are subscribed to and you can update that as needed.
You may have signed up under another email address. To check which email address you signed up under and the lists you are subscribed to, go to our
signup form. Enter your information and check off the lists you want to subscribe to then click Subscribe. If you are not signed up under that email, it will subscribe you to the lists you checked off. Check your inbox for welcome emails to the lists you subscribed to. If you are already signed up, you will see a message that says you are subscribed with a link to update your profile. Type in your email address and use this link update your profile; you will receive an email with the subject “Dinner Partners, LLC: Update Profile” with a link to update your preferences. At that link, you will see which lists you are subscribed to and you can update that as needed.
